Lancashire Emerging Schools Rugby Tournament
Yesterday Unity College achieved it's best ever finish in the Lancashire Emerging Schools Rugby tournament. The squad of 15 travelled to Preston via mini bus and parents, and achieved great victories over some good rugby schools, including St. Augustines and Broughton, to come third in Lancashire! Mr. Williams and all the parents and coaches who attended were very proud of this fantastic achievement by our students who played with courage and skill despite never having really played together as a full team. The squad members were:
Macaulay Thorley, Cameron Leech, Bailey thornton, Tommy Stott, Callum Brewer, Jamie Marshall, Sam Hill, Brandan Bermingham, Jordan Flemming, Reece Bonney, Sam Matthews, Luke Cocker, Tommy Walsh, Eliot Danby and Connor Wilson.
