To better improve the safety of internet access at school we have introduced a new filtering and monitoring product.
What you need to know ...
- All of your network activity is logged.
- You should not be playing games during lesson times for any reason
- You should always adhere to the acceptable use policy
- If you attempt to access blocked content more than five times, you will automatically have your internet access suspended. If this happens - do not ask for it to be reinstated, as it will happen automatically after a set period of time
- Students who repeatedly mis-use the network or attempt to access blocked content will be placed in a restricted group indefinitely, where only VLE access and SamLearning access will be granted
- DO NOT DISCLOSE YOUR PASSWORD TO ANYONE - you are responsible for activity that happens on your account. If a friend knows it, you must change it immediately
