Big Question Winner
Last week we asked you whether or not Britain should join the Euro. The overwhelming result was No. The best answer this week was supplied by Thomas Hoey in Year 11. Thomas wins himself 100 vivos. Here is his answer:
No... Our currency was one of the best in the world. To switch to the euro would cost a lot of money, firstly, in desposing of the pound and then making the euro, also, it would disrupt businesses in the country because of the change. Also, why join the euro? Europe is failing in the recession, for example Greece and Italy, Germany and France. All are failing countries for industry. Why should we change when we are just about surviving in the first place?
By the way, Thomas, and anyone else who was wondering - we check all your answers on Wikipedia, and on many other internet sites to make sure you haven't copied and pasted the answer!
