Friday lunchtime saw Miss Benet, Miss McLean and Mr Stewart joined by Unity band 'The Undecided' perform to staff and students on the balcony. From the moment they took their places up on the balcony crowds of staff and students gathered to watch and listen. Miss Benet opened with a desperate plea to everyone to be kind to her - and to give as much money as they could in aid of Comic Relief. She needn't have worried though, as the crowds were amazed by the singing talent on display as well as the brilliant band.
Afterwards Miss Benet said "It was the most nerve-wracking thing I've done in my whole life but the students were great and very supportive. It was great fun!"
Miss Benet, Miss McLean and Mr Stewart are still collecting money for Comic Relief so please pass any donations to them during the week.
