Medical Conditions

A variety of medical conditions affect young people throughout their lives. Often as a child the parents are the ones who know about the condition and how to manage it, but as children get older they need to take on some responsibility for managing their condition themselves. This can be quite a scary thought, especially if the young person does not know a great deal about their condition.

If you require more information about a specific condition, either because you suffer from it or maybe a friend/family member has it, then you can get further advice or information from the school nurse or GP.
